Thank you for choosing the Monthly Rental Plan! With this plan, you will need to pay the first two months up front and the rental fee will automatically be charged to your account monthly. If you would like to change the day in which the payment is taken, feel free to give us a call at (937) 435-2900.

How to rent an instrument:

  • To rent an instrument online you must be logged in. When you press the "Next" button at the bottom of the page you will be taken to a login screen, if you are not already logged in. If you do not have an account you can create one here. When you create an account on our website you will be able to rent instruments, purchase accessories (books, music stands, reeds, etc.), and have access to future features on our secure commerce website.  If you are already logged in you will go straight to the next step.

  •  Next you will select your school district and school. If you are an adult or homeschool student select “Non-Traditional Student” for your school district.  If you do not see your school listed, please select "Non-Traditional Student" as the district and "Unlisted School" as the school,  then leave your school and school district in the "notes" section on the next page.  

  • Now you will choose your instrument, and select whether you would like a used or new instrument.   If the instrument you would like to rent is out of stock please call our store, (937) 435-2900 to check the latest status of that instrument.  
    *Note: If selecting a fractional sized string please be sure to select the correct size for your student.  If you are unsure what size instrument will fit your student best, you are welcome to stop by our store where a member of our highly qualified sales staff can assist you in choosing the proper size.

  • On the following screen you will see a breakdown of your downpayment and future monthly payments.   The prices shown are before tax and will be billed as one amount.  All of your rental monthly rental payments will go toward the purchase of your instrument.  Below the payment breakdown you may select any accessories you would like with your instrument.
    *Note: If your school requires an upgraded mouthpiece it will be added on to your rental contract.

  • Enter in your customer information and billing information.  If there are fields that do not pertain to your specific rental please enter “n/a”.  Once you read our terms and conditions, and digitally sign your rental contract hit “Submit”.  Upon hitting "Submit" you will receive a success message.  If you need any books or accessories you may purchase them through our online store and have them delivered with your instrument.  Please allow two business days for processing.

    Important Reminder: At times, especially during peak season (August – October) McCutcheon Music may have limited quantities of instruments.  Instrument rentals are processed in the order in which contracts are received.  If we are out of stock of the instrument you requested we will notify you by phone to discuss further options.  Your credit card will not be charged if we are out of stock.
